On 13, 14 and 15 July we shall have Ruben Cabrera as our guest chef, the winner of the 6th Qué Bueno! Awards for the best chef in the Canary Islands.

This is the first time that the chef visits the Isla de Lobos restaurant and he will delight us with a menu that has been carefully tailored for the occasion.

Isla de Lobos, is the gastronomic beacon of the Hotel Princesa Yaiza.
Located in an idyllic enclave, with a magnificent terrace with breathtaking views of the sea, Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos.

It is an exclusive gourmet restaurant with an enchanting atmosphere. It applies avant-garde techniques to traditional cuisine, giving rise to an evolution of the dishes.

Ruben Cabrera, has been awarded the prestigious Que bueno! Award as the best chef of the Canary Islands. Our chef has received the highest distinction within the catering sector due to his constant creativity, innovation and passion for gastronomic excellence. His persistence and professionalism have taken him to become a reference in the restaurants of Tenerife.

The award is a recognition of Rubén Cabrera,’s successful and extensive career; he represented the Canary Islands in the last Madridfusión culinary competition. Ruben was considered as the best chef of the Spanish gastronomic competition for the second year in a row. In addition, he was awarded first prize in the International Creative Cuisine Competition “Red Prawn of Denia in 2015”.

The newKilometro Zero 2017 gastronomic show begins on Friday 29th April.

A unique gastronomic event that includes a guided tour with the chef to our Finca de Uga, in addition to the tasting of an exquisite menu at the Isla de Lobos restaurant in the Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort *****L, prepared with raw materials from the Finca, local products from the island of Lanzarote and traditional recipes made in an avant-garde way.
