Restaurant Isla de Lobos starts the season with a new feel
After being awarded with the title of “Best hotel restaurant in the Canary Islands” at the IV Edition of Mahou “La Provincia” La Opinión de Tenerife Awards, our staff at restaurant Isla de Loboskeep working with their usual love and dedication to keep improving every day and offering the best possible experience to their guests.
For this reason, the restaurant is starting a new season, after a summer full of five-star gastronomy, with exciting newsand endless plans to keep surprising guests and continue its long history offering the best quality and innovation in cuisine.
New creations at restaurante Isla de LobosThis way, besides innovations in the menu and the search for new flavours, textures and processes, the restaurant aims at offering full gastronomy experiences, which can turn out unforgettable for its guests and always fully satisfactory, such as its gastronomy days with the best professionals of national and international cuisine, or its already recognized and praised Kilometre Zero experience.
The first gastronomy days of the seasonwill be held from 5th to 7th of October, featuring the renowned chef Maria Marte. Being a chef with a long career and recognition at both national and international level, Maria has her working headquarters in Madrid, as the head chef of Club Allard, a restaurant with two Michelin Stars, thus being the only woman chef in the capital city with such recognition, besides having received numerous gastronomy awards in the last years.
In addition to her long career, which started from the bottom up to become the awarded chef she is today, Maria Marte is an example of perseverance, a great professional to learn from, and with a love for cuisine who becomes clear in all of her creations.
Our restaurant Isla de Lobos, on the occasion of this unique gastronomy experience, offers the possibility of enjoying a gastronomy day when chef Maria Marte will work together with our cooking team to elaborate a menu exclusively designed for this occasion which, combining the local products of Lanzarote with the cooking abilities of the star chef, will delight all attendants.
Besides these gastronomy days, restaurant Isla de Lobos is resuming the cycle of Kilometre Zeroexperiences, which usually take place on every last Saturday of the month, and whose first appointment will be celebrated next September 30th. All those who have not tried this experience yet, can enjoy the slow food philosophy offered by the cuisine elaborated with local products at these unique meetings, which include a visit to Finca de Uga (our Uga-based farm) guided by the restaurant chef, followed by an exquisite tasting menu at the restaurant elaborated with food raw materials from the Farm, local products from Lanzarote and traditional recipes made into avant-garde cuisine.
