The story of José is a story of promotions, Pizarro came to United Kingdom more than 15 years ago. He wanted to learn English and someone he knew helped him to find work in the Gaudí Restaurant. With his eagerness as an entrepreneur and great people skills he ended up working in the Brindisa restaurant chain, one of the most well-known of the city, where he became a shareholder and chef de cuisine. A few years ago he decided to fly solo and set up his own restaurant. First, he openedJose tapas, and afterwards Pizarro, which offers more creative cuisine, José Pizarro Broadgate in the heart of the City and finally Little José, recently opened.

During his visit to the Isla de Lobos restaurant he enjoyed a tasting menu where the dishes that most surprised him were the dish of Camarote prawns, warm goat’s yoghurt curry and Avocado Mojo and a typical dish of the island, which is the Canary Islands Broth. He also had the opportunity to get to know the more advanced gastronomy techniques in our restaurant , and was also able to meet staff with diversity of influences from all over world and high gastronomic training to be able to design and develop proposals for different textures and taste.
